Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and SuperCala LLC ("SuperCala," "we," "us"), operator of MeetCute at meetcute.supercala.ai. By creating an account or using MeetCute, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction. MeetCute is a dating service; users under 18 are prohibited and accounts determined to be under-18 will be terminated. You agree to provide accurate information about your age at signup.
2. What MeetCute does
MeetCute is a blind-matching service. When you complete our questionnaire, pay the onboarding fee, and upload photos, the service computes a psychological and physical compatibility score between you and other users. When two users each score above their own individual threshold on each other, MeetCute proposes a meeting at a public venue; both users must confirm the meeting before it's scheduled.
You will not see photos of or exchange messages with other users through MeetCute before a meeting. After a meeting, each user may independently choose to exchange contact information or walk away.
3. Fees
- Onboarding fee: a one-time $75 fee after you complete the questionnaire, before you enter the match pool.
- Per-meeting fee: $35 per confirmed meeting, charged to both users. Includes a deposit portion that forfeits if you do not attend a meeting you confirmed.
Fees are payable in advance via our payment processor (Stripe). All fees are non-refundable except where required by law or where we explicitly offer a refund (e.g. if the other user fails to attend a confirmed meeting, we'll refund your deposit).
4. Your content and conduct
You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, answers, preferences). You grant SuperCala a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content for the purpose of operating MeetCute — matching, safety review, meeting coordination. We do not train AI models on your personal data and we do not sell your data.
You agree not to:
- Upload content you don't own the rights to
- Impersonate another person
- Misrepresent your identity, age, or marital status
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users before, during, or after a meeting
- Use MeetCute for commercial solicitation
- Attempt to circumvent our matching system, payment system, or privacy protections
We may suspend or terminate your account for any conduct that violates these Terms or that we reasonably determine is harmful to other users.
5. Meetings and safety
Meetings arranged through MeetCute occur in public venues and are between independent adults. SuperCala is not responsible for the conduct of users before, during, or after a meeting. We recommend meeting in well-trafficked public places, telling a friend where you're going, and leaving immediately if you feel unsafe. Report any incident to local authorities first, then to us at safety@supercala.ai.
6. Account termination
You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. On deletion we will remove your profile from the match pool immediately and delete or de-identify your personal data according to our Data Retention Policy. Past meetings records are retained in anonymised form for safety and legal-compliance purposes.
7. Disclaimers and limits on liability
MeetCute is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee you will match with anyone or that matches will lead to successful relationships. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SuperCala's total liability to you for any claim related to MeetCute is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email and posted here at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
